Have you ever wondered what your room would look like if you remodeled? The best way to space plan is to use visuals!! ChiefArchitect has quickly become my favorite program to use. Here are my most recent examples for clients.
We have completed our demolition of an outdated master bedroom. In this corner we will be putting in a gorgeous stand alone tub with traditional fixtures. This home was built in 1927 and the stand alone tub will be in keeping with this English Tudor-style house.
We opened up the walls in the master bathroom. This allows the contractor, plumber and electrician to work their magic. All plumbing and electrical will need to updated!
When we opened the wall on the right, we found that a copper hose was next to electrical wires. All of them were crammed into the shower wall. This is a BIG No No!! The electrical wires will be rerouted and the copper hose replaced with a new updated version.
We also found some older wires no longer in use that were uncapped. ALL exposed wires should always be capped when left inside a wall. If they are not, it can lead to an electrical fire! Again, we will be fixing this problem as well
This bathroom is for an office or den off the main room in the home. We have removed an oversized vanity, mirror and light fixture. We will be featuring a smaller and updated vanity only 44" wide with a custom mirror above. The medicine cabinet on the wall to the right will stay but will be updated as well to match the rest of the space!
Recently, I was asked what pieces of furniture a newlywed couple should buy. Most of us are on a budget and furniture can be very expensive.
